Carlaura Flie-Jordan has a strong passion for empowering people to see in themselves what others may have counted out. She is an empowered black woman, and mother to two amazing little boys, who were her motivation behind this book. There was a moment, when her then six year old son asked her if he would be killed by the police because he is a black boy. She was devastated, but it was in that moment that she was led to write these words that she prays her sons will carry with them forever. It is Carlaura’s hope that all children know, despite how the world may see you, your parents will always see the very best!
